Aqua Farming

AQUAPONICS – TILAPIA – FLORIDA

ACF-PAC (PROFESSIONAL AQUACULTURE)
ACF-PAC (PROFESSIONAL AQUACULTURE)

Greater foliage development and faster growth rates

  • 60% Increase In Yield

AQUAPONICS – TILAPIA – LA FRANCIA FISH FARM, COLOMBIA
92% REDUCTION IN AMMONIACAL NITROGEN
81% REDUCTION IN NITRATES

  • Concentration of nitrites was low, while ammonia was very high, because the nitrifying bacteria were not established in the system
  • BP recommended that the aeration system be improved to ensure a better flow of oxygen in the aquatic environment to allow for optimal bacterial reproduction
  • Weight of the fish increased significantly during the implementation of biotechnology

INTENSIVE SYSTEMS – ROHU FISH AND SHRIMP
KARNATAKA, INDIA

Phase 1 Results: Spawn to Fry (1 Month Growth)

  • Mortality reduced by 25% in Treatment vs. Control ponds with uniform consistent growth in test pond
  • All parameters were well within the recommended levels with dissolved oxygen above 5.0 mg/l
  • Reduction in ammonia levels is evident in treatment ponds vs. control ponds
  • Growth of Rohu was superior and uniformly consistent in treatment ponds vs. control ponds where growth was inferior and erratic

Phase 2 Results: Fry to Fingerling (15 Week Growth)

  • Improved survival rate by 8.75 %
  • Increase BioMass by 14.30%

Phase 3 Results: Grow Out Phase – Using ACF-PAC and ACF-Nitro Activator

  • Increased BioMass by 14.82%
  • Treated spawn survived 7 days before reaching 50% mortality, compared to just under 3 days in the control pond
  • ACF-PAC doubled the survival time

Phase 4 Results: Fish Transportation – In this Phase, the ability of ACF-PAC with ACF-NITRO Activator to reduce fish mortality during fish transport was tested

  • Used only aerated mix tank product (ACF-PAC and ACF-NITRO Activator), which was applied at the rate of 1 part final bioreactor product to 20 parts fish transport
  • Experiment evaluated survival of spawn, fry, and fingerlings, with and without ACF-PAC / NITRO addition
  • Key test was the time elapsed (vs control) before 50% mortality occurred
  • Treated fry survived 38 hours before 50% mortality, compared to just 6 hours to reach 50% mortality in the control situation
  • ACF-SC use meant 6 times longer survival before 50% mortality compared to control
