Comprehensive Hydrocarbon Remediation

In January 2021, BluePlanet Labs successfully conducted a groundbreaking hydrocarbon remediation project in the basement of a facility in Mt. Vernon, New York. Utilizing a combination of advanced formulas such as ACF-AD, ACF-NITRO, and ACF-32, the treatment involved on-site brewed bacteria formulas specifically designed to tackle heavy pollution. The process began with on-site acclimatization of beneficial bacteria, followed by systematic spraying of the formulated treatment on the contaminated soil.

The method included flooding the soil with the treatment solution to ensure deep penetration, following a strategic grid pattern and maintaining the moisture levels through weekly applications. This meticulous approach led to a remarkable 97% to 100% reduction in heavy crude hydrocarbons, specifically targeting both volatile and semi-volatile components.
